About
Structure understood through movement and seen through a dancer's body and a photographer's eye.
ROLFING® Fascia & Structural Integration is based in Antwerp, by Nicha Rodboon — certified Rolfer®, photographer and ex-dancer. Nicha danced professionally with Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp, and brings over 15 years of professional dance experience and deep embodied understanding to a practice that integrates structural bodywork, fascia work, and movement awareness.
The mission is to help clients feel grounded, aligned, and effortless in their movement — creating both flow and foundation within the body, while reconnecting to a greater sense of physical wellbeing, presence, and ease in everyday life.
WHAT ROLFING® SI DOES
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a type of hands-on bodywork developed by Dr. Ida Rolf more than fifty years ago. This therapy helps realign and balance the body by working with the connective tissues — or fascia — that surround and support everything inside us: muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. Using gravity as a tool, Structural Integration works with the body's relationship to the earth beneath it, allowing structure to reorganise and movement to become effortless.
We see our clients as whole beings with an emotional, psychological and physical history that reveals itself in every gesture.
Rolfing® can effectively treat:
Repetitive Motion Strain
Those who perform repetitive motions, such as typing, lifting, or playing an instrument, can benefit from Rolfing® which reduces strain and promotes better movement patterns.
Reduced mobility/flexibility
For anyone looking to improve mobility and overall body function, Rolfing® can help restore movement and balance.
Aging Bodies
Rolfing® is an excellent treatment for individuals who want to maintain or regain comfort and mobility as they age.
Chronic pain or discomfort (whether from past injuries or wear and tear)
Rolfing® SI can help release tension and restore balance.
Injuries
Athletes, performers, or anyone with physically demanding jobs may find Rolfing® beneficial for reducing the long-term effects of old injuries.
Bad posture and misalignment
Rolfing® SI helps improve posture, which can alleviate discomfort in the back, shoulders, neck, and other areas affected by misalignment and pattern.
Rolfing® SI is not medicine. It does not cure disease or treat injury. It works with your body's structure — and that changes everything else.
This work is most powerful when you meet it halfway. We work together — your awareness, your breath, your willingness to be present. The more you bring to each session, the more your body receives.
WHAT I DO
Ida Rolf designed a series of ten sessions — each one building on the last. Not random. Not reactive. A deliberate, step-by-step process that works through the whole body to improve alignment, release compensation patterns, and restore structural balance.
It's the foundation of everything a Certified Rolfer® does.
And it's where lasting change actually happens.

THE PROCESS
Meet
What brought you here. What you carry. What you're ready to release.
Explore
Your body sets the pace. Together we discover what becomes possible.
Integrate
You take it with you. And it continues long after you leave.

Movement
Movement is not just how you get from A to B. It is how you think, how you feel, how you relate to the world around you. When movement is restricted by tension, compensation, or habit, everything narrows. Rolfing® SI restores the quality of movement by addressing what limits it at its source: the fascia.
Function
Every body has a logic. The way you breathe, stand, reach, and recover, all of it follows a pattern. When that pattern is efficient, the body functions with ease. When it is not, the body compensates and compensation, over time, becomes pain. Rolfing® SI works to restore the body's natural functional intelligence, so it can do what it was designed to do, without effort.
Structure
Structure is the foundation of everything. Before you can move freely, you need to be organised. Rolfing® SI works with the fascial system to bring the body into better alignment. Not a rigid, forced posture, but a living, breathing balance that works with gravity rather than against it. When structure improves, everything else follows.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The work is firm and intentional, but not painful. Nicha works at a depth your tissues can actually receive. Most people describe sensations from "good pressure" to deep release. You stay in communication throughout.
-
Massage primarily works with muscles and promotes relaxation. Rolfing works with the connective tissue system and aims to create lasting structural and functional change. Sessions are more interactive — you participate through breath and movement.
-
Not necessarily. An introductory session is a perfect first step. That said, the 10-series is designed as a complete, systematic protocol and produces the most thorough results.
-
Typically once every two - three weeks. The 10-series usually unfolds over 3–6 months. This rhythm is part of what makes the work effective and it will continue to grow and adpat in your everyday life.
